Wayanad – The natural expedition

This holiday season was great natural expedition to “Wayanad” – It’s a spiritual and natural expedition in the lap of “the Brahmagiri” hills, and the historical centers of Northern Kerala. Last year during the same time it was great exploration to South India Tour. Before I start my journey of my experience let me describe in brief what is Wayanad all about… Wayanad also known as the Mayakshetra (Maya's land) and evolved into Mayanad and finally to Wayanad. It is located in the north-east of Kerala . The Folk etymology of the word says it is a combination of Vayal (paddy field) and Naad (land), making it 'The Land of Paddy Fields'. We (Family consisting of my mother, sister, BIL & nephew) started our journey on Dec 26 th - cold early morning and eventually hit the road by our car @ 6 AM. Chaah nahin

They say childhood memories are golden memories for the lifetime. What you experience during the childhood you will always cherish those moments for lifetime and what you’ll learn will always remember for the life time. One such beautiful poem “Chaah nahin” written by Makhanlal Chaturedi always ring a bell in my ear whenever I go back to my childhood days. This is one of my favorite poem remained forever. Dare Dream

Read the book "The Alchemist" - A magical fable about following your dream by Paulo Coelho which inspires anybody to achieve their dream and teaches to dare dream. Santiago, a boy earns his common living in Andalusia by trading the shepherds. One day he has a dream of hidden treasure in Egyptian Pyramids and seeks advice to go to Pyramids to find the treasure. Melchizedek, the King of Salem, also motivates him to go and find his dream treasure. He also presents him with Urim and Thummim stones, which aids him whenever he is in any trouble. In-order to find his soul’s desire, he sells his shepherds to fund his journey towards the Pyramids. During his journey, a thief steals all his money and he is left with nothing.
